ABOUT THE FARM
locally grown - farm fresh
Silver Fox Lane is a boutique flower farm specializing in dahlias, tucked away in the timber of Toddville, Iowa. We grow thousands of rare seasonal flowers using organic practices, no harsh chemicals or pesticides, just beautiful flowers you can actually stick your nose in.
We offer weekly subscriptions from July through September, delivering specialty blooms directly to your door in Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas. Each arrangement is different from the last — shaped by what's at it's peak that week, cut the day before it arrives.
Although we hate to pick favorites, Dahlia's are for sure at the very top of our list. We've spent the last few years growing our stock and in 2027 will begin to share them with you. Whether you're a backyard flower lover or small scale grower, you're going to want to add these to your collection. Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter to get notified of our tuber sale dates.
Every seed, every tuber and every arrangement is started here at our home studio and flower field. Because our farm is located at our home, we are not open to the public. But we invite you to follow along on Instagram, Facebook and our Blog for the behind the scenes moments of life on our little flower farm.

MEET THE FARMER FLORIST
DARCY CASEY | OWNER, GROWER & FLORIST
Before the flower fields, there was a career built around seeing things carefully through a lens along with the deliberate choice of design and composition. That eye for what matters, for what to leave in and what to leave out has translated perfectly into growing and designing with flowers.
What started out as a desire to grow something beautiful in my own backyard, quickly turned into a deeper love for growing, arranging and sharing with others. Today I grow rows upon rows of seasonal cut flowers. Each one planted and tended through the seasons by me, harvested fresh just for you.
Silver Fox Lane has been a quiet dream, germinating since purchasing our property in 2022. We've grown quietly the past few years, but in 2026 we are making the leap to dive deep into growing varieties we've trialed and grown in love with over the past few years, and we can't wait to share them with you!
The camera is still always within reach, it always will be. My passion for photography will never fade and I look forward to sharing that part of me through the images I share here of the farm.
